Qualifying Examinations for Chartered Church Office Managers
Applications are hereby invited from prospective students to write the qualifying examinations of the International Institute of Church Office Management (IICOM), the universal body for church officers, church secretaries and church administrators.
The qualifying examinations are in 3 modules: Foundation Level, Intermediate Level, and Final Level.
Three Levels of Professional Examination
The qualifying examinations are structured in three comprehensive levels to ensure thorough professional development.
Foundation Level
For external candidates with 5 credits passed in GCE/NECO/WAEC/NABTEB. English is compulsory. Candidates are required to pass the 8 subjects of this level divided into 2 parts before attempting the intermediate level.
Part I Subjects:
- Use of English Language
- Introduction to Church Office Administration
- Introduction to Philosophy of Religion
- Introduction of Management
Part II Subjects:
- Introduction to Sociology of Religion
- Introduction to Office Management Principle & Techniques
- Introduction to Computer
- Church Office Ethics and Practices
Intermediate Level
For external candidates with 5 credits passes in GCE/NECO/WAEC/NABTEB. Secretarial studies and Short Hand are compulsory or Graduates with HND, ND, A' NABTEB or registered student who have successfully completed the foundation level Examination. This level is divided into 2 parts with 4 subjects in each part.

Part II Subjects:
- Church Leadership & Administration
- Church Finance & Accounting Procedure
- Church Security & Safety Management
- Information Management
Final Level
For external candidates with post graduate diploma in secretarial studies or library and information management or office management, B.Sc, Secretarial Administration. Candidates who successfully complete intermediate level examination of (IICOM) or C&G of London institute are automatically eligible. It is divided into 2 parts with 4 subjects in each part.

Professional Certification
CCOM - Chartered Church Office Manager
Successful completion of the programme makes candidate a full fledge church office professional with right/privilege to describe self as a professional church office manager and mandatorily inscribe the designatory acronym of (CCOM) after his/her name.
FCCOM - Fellow Chartered Church Office Manager
The (CCOM) or Chartered Church Office Manager is qualified for fellowship award after 10 years post qualification experience. The designation is Fellow Chartered Church Office Manager of the International Institute of Church Office Management, the designatory acronym of (FCCOM) is mandatory after his/her name.
